I have a 30 gal. setup with a canister filter and a skimmer. I recently bought a new lighting system. Within a matter of a week green algae (i think) started forming on the rocks and sand. Is there anyway that I can prevent this from continueing. I have limited my lighting from 7 hours to 4 hours a day. Is there anything else that I can do. My parameters are normal. Is there anything that im missing. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks
