All of a sudden in my tank a red slime like alge showed up and it is covering everything, who do i get rid of it?

i bet if you look under the search and type in red slime you would get a load of info on that topic

Remove it manually and then find the problem. My problem was tap water. Imade the switch to RO water and it hasn't come back since.
