well i bought this GSP and now its showing signs of growin a bit, but there is some like junk on the matt of it, i try blowing it off but nowing, i put a new power head in the tank and it didtn really blow it off. i think it likes the faster current
As it spreads it starts as a thin, purple mat and the polyps grow out of that mat as it matures/grows. Pictures would be the only real way for you to get an answer. Is it growing anywhere else, or just at the gsp? What does it look like?
its growing a bit yea. it dosent come out in picture and it looks like its only on the GSP, but i picked it up just now and shook it around and most of it just came off, i think its just crap that stayed on it that was floating around
scrub it with a toothbrush. i mean, dont go insane on it of course, but just enough to get the algae off. i had to do it when i first got mine cause it came out of a nasty tank. dont worry, itll live. theyre really tough.
BTW, GSP isnt an SPS.
