algea problem

I've had my 65 reef for about a 7 months and all of the sudden it's it's got a algea problem

theres this green algea that growwith 3 hour of cleaning the glass and i only leave the lihgts on 12-7
WHATS WRONG????????

I suppose it could be alot of things. Are your lightbulbs old? How often are you feeding? Do you have high phosphates and/or nitrates?

the lights are 7 months old feeding once a day i have to find out about the phospates and nitrates

what are you feeding once a day? how much food are you adding? do you have a phosphate test kit?

Also, to go along with your feeding amount and food type, what is your stock list?
What kind of corals do you have in the reef?
Do you dose with anything?
What are you using for top off?
Is the tank near a window or sliding glass door?
What kind of lighting are you using?
Do you have a sump/refugium?
