Algea problem......

So my tank has been running for a while. It is established. If you look I upgraded from a 55 to a 180.
I have a 3 x 150w MH light with 4x96w Actinics, but only 2 of the MH's are working right now. I went through the cyano and all that is gone, but now I am having trouble keeping green algea in check. I scrape it all of the glass and withing 2-3 days it is back.
I run the Actinics for 3 hours, then MH's for 7, then actinics for another 3. All my levels are unremarkable.....0 ammonia, trites, trates, phosphates; SG of 1.027; the only thing is that my alk is low....it seems to always be low.
So what is the reason for these algea outbreaks and what can I do to stop them??
I never had this problem in my 55, but I also didn't have MH's on the 55.

How much do you feed? The algae may be absorbing the phosphates and nitrates in an equal amount they come in and show no results in tests. Whats the stock of the tank? What kind of cleaner crew do you have? filtration? Snails and other cleaners will definatly help but wont fix the problem.

I feed once a day....and just enough that they just about eat all of it. The stock on the tank is very low.....sailfin tang, 2 clowns, purple psuedo, giant feather duster, button polyps and frogspawn.
I have about 10 huge top crown snails, 2 hermits (rest died), emerald crab, 4 nassarius snails, cleaner shrimp.
Filtration is all natural....I have a 180 Gallon tank with about a 50 gallon sump. I have about 150-180lbs of LR in the tank and another 50-60 lbs in the sump. And I run an ASM G3 skimmer.

how about a magnet and more snails
do you have a refugium?
lol.....I have to buy a bigger mag-float as the small one doesn't work on this size tank.

And unfortunately I do not have a refugium.

I think it is just the new light fixture give it time to adjust

Ok....the 3rd light in my fixture is fixed and now the problem has gotten worse.

All my readings are perfect....my corals are thriving, but the algea just keeps growing. I left Friday and came back Tuesday afternoon and when I looked at the tank it was a disaster!! Took me a good half hour to get the algae off the glass.
But now its growing on the rocks too!!

Someone help!!
