it will take some time. what is happening right now is that the upgrade in lights is causeing an algae bloom that will suceed but may need alittle help.
what type of cleanup crew do you have.
snails crabs etc..

Welcome to the Forum!
As Michael said an upgrade in lights can cause an algae bloom, but so can excess nutrients in the water along with a light upgrade, could you post your parameters including, pH, alk, ammonia, nitrite, nitrate, and phosphate. Also are you using some type of purified water or tap water?

I do have a few snails and crabs(blue leg) as far as alk, phos, ph, ca, they are all good... i didnt check nitrates... could that cause high algee... the live rock starting to look a little better... but can just be eyes of hope... someone told me about a tea bag ALGONE its a water clarifier/nitrate remover...u lay it on in the filer...
thanks
