Alk Up, Calc Down

What would cause my alk to go up and my calcium to go down? I'm now at calc 340 and my alk at 14dkh i tested a couple days ago and i was at 380 and 13dkh. I'll be doing a water change this afternoon and i'll measure again tomorrow but if this is going to be a future trend i'd like to know what it is.

what's your ph like? mg? are you dosing anything?

i've lost my PH test so i'm not sure on that one. I don't have an mg test. I dose is calcium and buffer when needed but i haven't dosed buffer for two weeks and a super small amount of trace minerals in the middle of the week between water changes. Ofcourse two weeks ago is when i first got corals as well. Mostly softies and zoos, a couple SPS and a couple LPS.

My freind has been having the same issue so he tested the ALK on a new mix or reef crystals and it was at 14 DKH. Test your water change water and see what that is at.
