Alkalinity (DKH) To high

Hello,
My alkalinity in my 20G high tank is staying a little to high at 13-14dKH. Should be at the most 12. My PH is around 8.2. I tried Kent Reef buffer but still staying high. Tried a 20% water change still high. Any ideas on how to lower it? I have about 20-25lbs of live rock. The tank has been up for about 9 months or so. I use a penguin biowheel hang on the back filter. Any help would be great

Whats your magnesium level?
