alkalinity

done water changes cann't get alkalinity down and just losing one of my first corals some thin bar xenia. Xenia is pretty much dead now should I take it out?

I would, I mean thats flesh withering away in your tank. And what is your alkalinity and what are you using to control it?

What is your alk and calcium levels. I have never heard of alk killing anything. A calcium snow storm but this is new to me.
