"All-Glass" Brand Canopy for 55 gallon

Does anyone know if the canopy made for a 55 gallon tank (48 inches) by all-glass brand fit 48" bulbs? And if so, the top of the canopy opens up to get to the top of the tank so where would the bulbs be attached to? I have a VHO retrofit kit and want to buy the all-glass canopy because I really like the way they look but am worried that it won't be wide enough and if not are 36" bulbs sufficient for some corals and anemones even though my tank is 48" wide? I've just never heard of anyone having shorter bulbs than thier tank is. Thanks for any help. Jeff

I dont know if this will be of much help but i'll post it anyway. I bought a canopy off e-bay from a company that make aquarium stands and canopies. The canopy looks great its also for a 55 gal. Its about 8" high and has two doors on the top, but the doors are only 12" front to back, so you have about 8" to install lights and fans I dont have the demisions on me, but i will post them later. As for the the length the 48" lights fit fine on my canopy. I think the AGA canopy the whole top piece is a hinged lid, so i could see it being difficult to mount light on that one.
