Well today for me was moving day, and everything was going to plan...but i guess Someone upstairs thought i'd be a good day to be extra mean to me.
Went to take my 55 gallon down (for the move) ..filled up 9, 5 gallong buckets with water, some with sand and water and some with my life rock...the normal....in 1. tub i put the filter from my 55 on it with my fish (figured it would help keep them healthy)...only were supposed to be in there for 20 minutes...anyways i put my puffer and my yellow tang in a seperate bucket...just because i diidn't want one bucket to be over stocked for the few minutes...anyways ...i get to my new house with my 55 ...and freaking starts leaking on the side...so im SCREWED there. Thank God i was setting up my 125 gallon,...(still has a few leaks...its a nightmare on its own) anyways ...with the leak i got alittle upset...i just put all my 55 water/sand in my 125 and didn't fill it up...figured i could keep the fish in it for a few days...i go back to my apartment...and OMG all of my fish are DEAD (the one with the filter) My 1. V-lion 2. Niger Trigger. 3. Koran Angel 4. Flame Hawk fish I seriously just wanted to cry. I looked in my other bucked...my porc puffer and yellow tang were fine...im wondering why all my fish in one bucket died...but wow it really hurts. then on top of everything else my friend was carrying my filter for my 55 over to my new house and freaking drops it and busts it.... over all my night as been complete hell. and more then that i miss my fish.
but right now my yellow tang and puffer are in my 125 and seem to be enjoying themselves...hopefully they'll make it till friday in the tank...otherwise i think i might have a complete mental break down.
Thanks for listening

im thinking they ran out of air honestly...it was only for 20 minutes ...but who knows...lesson learned...im never putting more then one fish in a bucket again.
im new to the hobby so i'll just use it as a live and let learn thing kinda take place.
it is sad though.

not to make you worry, but i moved about a month ago and i had my queen angel in a bucket by itself, i bagged my dwarf lion with about a liter of water, and my maroon clown, damsels, and pygmy angel in another bag for almost 2 hours without a problem. i think it might have been somethin else. sorry to hear about your loss too i know how it feels. i had almost all of my losses when i first started as well and we're talkin almost a grand all at once.
