My tank racently had a salinity spike after the dry salt on the side fell in my tank.
Could this cause the degrading health of all my coral and the dissapearence of my mushrooms?
param check out
nitrate is 5-10

How drastic was the salinity spike? From what to what and how quickly?
Any other changes - like changes in lighting? I ask because most mushrooms often melt in lighting that is too intense, yet ricordeas can use and withstand more.

If we're talking specific gravity, I think/hope you mean an increase of .004?
When you re-aquascaped, did you possibly move the mushrooms into any different light/flow? You could also have stirred some junk up when moveing the rocks around - did you check for ammonia and nitrite?
