hey what do you guys think about having an all puffer tank? i've been considering it, but i think that the puffers will get too big... if i get my 55 gal. up and running ANY time soon, how many puffers do u think it would be safe to keep in there? like i said i've been thinking about doing the tank mostly puffers, like 2-3 small pork puffers and watching them grow up :) but have some other fish along the way, too :) tell me wut u guys think, thanks!

In addition, not enough room. A healthy puff will get as big as a football...one MAYBE could fit in a 55.

Its recommended that a single porky should be in at least 100 gallons. They grow quick and usually dont get along with each other. A healthy one will get to be a foot or so

Yes I heard that also. Porky puffers dont get along with each other, and they grow quik. So I say only one porky puffer... Chose your fish right cause apparently other fishes like to nip on porkys tails and fins... I have an aggresive set up with some eels and a white spotted puffer, and a porky puffer. He's doing great but gets his tail nipped all the time by the spotted puffer... so think about it... Also aggressive tanks are more maintenance do to the large amounts of food you have to feed them. any ways good luck!!!!!!!!!!!!!

you might be able to get away with a pair of 1 of the canthigaster. but they are very hard to come by.
