all to save a stupid SFE....

well last nite i was doin my hw, and my larger SFE found my littler one and they began to fight. the little one jumped out of the tank and into my filter box. i jumped up and tore the lid off my and started dismantling things (filters, skimmers, etc) and finally found him in the most impossible spot. i try to reach my hand in but it didnt fit, my net didnt either. so in tearing my filter box apart the sleave to my filter went over the converter to my lights, it began to drip into my converter!! :scared: :scared: :scared: i out of reflex tried moving the converter my arm went num (sp?) a lil while later my power strip got wet and set the stupid cat scratcher on fire, we got it out of the house and sprayed it w/ what my dad powerwashed the deck w/. so back in the house i have the eel cornered in a small section of the filter box, and my kitten decides its a great idea to stand on the edge of it and falls into the tank!!!! i got him out but he was soaking wet and i have a scar on shoulder, damn cat. so in the end i got the eel out w/ my hand (net wouldnt manuvere well in the compartment) and he bit me, but he got back in the tank. so kiddies what did we learn? doctors w/ the first name of ronaldo r stalkers...

This is a story that when it happens it is horrible, but when you look back at all of the events it is almost hilarious, especially the cat in the tank
. One of those times when it seems like nothing else can go wrong but it always does. I had something like this happen with my snowflake when I first bought him I wanted to touch him and he freaked out flew out of the net and into my in-tank filter, took me 2 hours to get hin out. What we do for our pets!

As long as you don't use both arms to move something that coud electricute you, you will be fine, if you do use both arms then the current goes across your heart. Then you have major problems, mainly your heart stopping.
