All you 90 gallon people, please take a look.

I've been doing my biology leasons for a reef tank. Now it's time to chose the specific equipment that I want. Please list what you use for pumps, powerheads, and skimmers. Feel free to leave opinions or not. I will be running a 90 gallon with overflow. The sump's base will be about 5 feet from the top of the tank. I will be building my own sump that will have a skimmer in one chamber, live sand in another, and one other chamber that the overflow comes into.
Thanks for your time.

I have had my 90 up for about 2 years with much success, I have a pre-drilled over flow/ 10 gal wet-dry with a Little Giant 2MDX/ 2 Rio 600 power heads for water movement (one on each end of the tank facing each other) and 1 set of 96watt power compacts. A custom built skimmer (my friend builds them) and the Little Giant pump runs it along with the wet dry (I would suggest if you are going to run the wet dry and skimmer both get a little bigger pump tho. I have approx.150lbs of live rock and about every type of soft coral and some hard corals.

I have two rio 1100's and a maxijet 900, One of the 1100's pumps into the sump(above the tank setup, 3 chambers, first is heater and skimmer, second is 10pds of LR andn 5 inch DSB, and third is going to be a low flow planted refugium. I have a 300 watt hagen heater. The main tankl has 8 NO, 48" Florecents, 2 20k blue's, 2 18k power glows and 4 5600k's, 2 inches of crushed coral in the main tank and about 60 pounds of tuffa and 15 pounds of LR. I am currently cycling it and I have only 2 green chromis. Thats about it.
oops had to edit this part in.
my main tankl is a 90 gallon hagen, 19x24x48 and the sump is a customized 20 gallon glass hagen tank( i cut it to work as an overhead sump).

I've got a 10 Gallon Sump, Rio 2100 return, 2 Rio 400 in the tank and 2 MaxiJet 1200 in the tank as well. It's pretty turbulent in there. One of the MaxiJet is on a random timer when the lights are on.

I have a 90 gallon AGA, factory drilled with corner overflow. Running a 20 gallon sterilite container as a sump, a rio 3100 as a return pump. a lamps now 4X110watt, VHO lights 2 50/50, 1 acitinic, and one aqua sun bulb, 2X250 watt Isawaki mogul base PFO ballast metal halides. One wal-mart special hang on power filter with no media, will soon be filling it with rock rubble for a mini refugium, a turbofloter skimmer, and a nilsen kalkwasser reactor built by GEO, the kalk reactor is run by a flexi flow 3 doser running 300 mls per hour for top off/evaporation, adding a grainger float switch part #2a554 to a powerhead because the doser just doesn't quite keep up with my evaporation with that much lighting. All top off ran out of a 5 gallon bucket. which lasts for about 2 days. So do you think I can keep anything now? I so far just have acropora, a montipora, cupanella, and some red sea xenia in the tank with 2 gold stripe maroon clowns that are MIA, and one hippo tang. the rest of the fish are still an item of debate! running Alaklinity at 12, calcium at 450, ph at 8.2, 0 trites, 0 trates, 0 ammonia
