I was cleaning up the hard drive today and ran across some pictures of my tank when I set it up in early July of last year.
I had kept some salt water tanks in the late eightys and it was hard for me to shake off those old methods. In the first pic notice the undergravel filter and CC. After some reasearch and visiting this forum I finally was able to learn some new tricks make some changes and add a little something to the tank each month and arrived at what I have in the second pic. Six months can make a big difference in this hobby!
