Also Got My New Tank

I picked up my 75 gallon today. The lights are on order. I am hoping for a good bit of LR, LS, a pair of clown fish (percula), a flame angel, and whatever else that is brightly colored and will work. I believe I'm going to use the shrimp cycle method. Emperor 400 for filter and a skimmer later on. Sound Good?

I'm going to leave room for a Mandarin later once the tank is established. 75 is big enough for one correct, with about 75-100 pounds of LR and plenty of copepodes?

Sounds gret,but with that much rock it may be a little cramped for room for a tang.And please wait at least six months before adding the mandarine.

I currently have a 75 gal cycling also. I have 55lb LR, a penguin 330 filter and a millenium 3000. Going to put a w/d filter on it sometime this week (hopefully).

I know to wait. I don't really know if I might get a tang or not. I know I can't afford 100 pounds of LR and that if I get all the rock in at once for cycling the better. What would be a good, cheap, easy to get base rock?

Congrats, on the new tank,
I know your looking at base rock because of the price, If your intrested I know a site that sells [He did have] some cycled rock, Not the real nice pieces like fuji but still nice pieces shaped like upsidedown icecream cones , so if you turn them over you can mack a ledge out of them check out my web page , the rock I am speaking about is the one that has the blue tip carpet on it, I used this rock for the top and a piece of fiji for the base, I like the look[ When I got this rock he only charged me 1.49 a pound] It didnt have a lot of purple coraline on it but it is growing rapidly know I dont know if he has any left ,but if your intrested let me know ..cya also going to use the shrimp for the cycle when the new tank comes in[ I hope this weekend, thats what the guy said].....cya
