I just bought that LTA cuz it's so irresistibly cheap, like....$15.
Anyhoo, My reef tank is so cramped up with corals that I can only put my LTA there.
The sticks are to keep the LTA from stinging my shrooms
But LTA is not attaching to the rock.
Do you think if I keep the sticks there long enough, the LTA will settle in that spot?
There will be so many fatality if I let that LTA float around the tank.
:notsure:

are you refering to health problem or expanding problem?
I am not too worried about its health cuz I got it right when lfs just got it out of the shipping box. It was still in the shipping bag.
How big will it get?
I might have to clear th shrooms and the Feather Duster and and the Gorg. for the LTA if it settles right there :) going to hard heh.

well they get large. The domino damsel in the pic is is probably about 3/4 to an inch in lenght. and he wasnt fully expanded or reaching really this is the normal sitting position that he is in. when he REALLY reaches he reaches half way up my tank. I have nothing in about 1/3 of my tank because of its reach and growth rate.

how much flow does it need, Mike?

mine gets medium flow whenever it gets the urge to start moving I point a powerhead to where its heading and it moves back where is was. Mine really likes a gentle swaying of current not real strong but enough to keep it moveing alittle bit. You may have to play with it to see what yours likes.

hahah, that's really funny.
I have a 55gal. very cramped up :)
Where I have it now is kind of moderate flow.
So, looks like it's not very happy.
I will clear the corner and set it in there and see if I can get it to settle in.
How come your LTA is brown?
Mine is lavender, pinkish kind of.
