Hello, as you know, i am new to this, i already got everything for my tank (55gal) and its been up and running sense July 20Th approx time 915pm. The PH levels are and have been 8.4, and i test every other day.The nitrite and ammonia levels have been zero. temp of water has been high, but i been trying to lower it, slowly but surely it has been, now its at 85F. I have Fiji white sand (60lb) and i believe white Fiji live rock also(55lb). Also have a T5 light source double light, and both light bulbs are for coral.
My question and whats bugging me is, there has been no algae, or nothing at all, am i doing everything right, because i did also want to start with some hermit crabs,snails, etc first but sense the tank is so clean, and everything perfect, should i wait? and if so when i put my first fish in, can i put in 1 hermit crab at same time or no?
Thanks i probably and hope I'm doing everything right, i believe i made myself paranoid because i read to much online about what other people be telling me about there tanks,fish, etc thanks.
