Am I Ready for Fish?

I have been cycling my FOWLR for a little over a month now using 2 shrimp to introduce ammonia into my tank. I test about every 3 days. I have seen my ammonia spike and then drop to 0. However, I haven't measured any nitrite or nitrate? There was about 1 1/2 weeks that I hadn't tested because I was sick and then went out of town for a few days. During this time, my ammonia dropped to 0. Is it possible that my nitrite rose and fell during this period of time?
By the way, I have a 55 with about 20 lbs of live rock.

I think you are ready for something you want that is cheap like a clown. You should be all set.

Does this mean you haven't tested for them, or you have and they were zero.

sounds like he means they were zero. sounds like you're ready for some fish. like brian said, clown are a good choice to start with. actually clowns are nice period. good luck.

oh, and you may want some more live rock. expensive, but worth it.
