I am just about ready to start my 1st. SW TAnk!! YAY! It is 46 Gallons, and my plans for it are to have a toby of some kind, and some other small variety aggressive fish. So here is a list of the equip. I have compiled:
-46 gall. bowfront w/stand
-glass canopy/ double bulb light fixture
-Berlin Classic Protein skimmer
-Ebo Jager Heater
_LOTS of salt/standard test kits (ph/ammonia/nitrate/trite)
-Multiple water conditioners for my tap water, reomve chlorine/ nad minerals etc.
-80 lbs. ultra fine sand (pretty black sand , forget company name but the specific sand is called tahitian moon, or something)
-Two penguin powerheads 170 gph. each
Small in tank water polishing filter, called a duetto, just for some minor polishing, it has all three kinds of filtration.
thats it, I know I still need plumbing stuff for my sump for under my tank,, but what else did everyone get to start out with? Am I basicaly okay?

can anybodyhelp at all? Sorry it's so long, but really all I want is some advice on what everyone else has that works. How have you plumbed your system etc...
