Ammonia surge

i am having a problem with the amount of ammonia in my tank. i've tried different products ammo-lockII etc and 3 complete water changes but nothing helps

New tank, old tank, big tank, little tank, what's in it???????? Need more info.

yes we need more info, what kind of filter are you using? how many inches of fish in what size tank
