Amphipods Ravaging my Zoas!

What can I do to stop these guys from eating my zoa? They've almost whipped out a colony of button polyps and are now invading my zooanthids!

I think I have the same thing going on in my tank as well. I havent seen the guys yet doing it but its the only cluster of zoe's closed up for the last 4 or 5 days. Thinking of dipping the rock being its not the large and getting a wrasse or Mandren.

I'd suspect spiders or nudi's(both are hard to spot), rather than amphipods. The pods are more than likely just finishing off what the others started. Dip the rock and see what comes out.

I would agree, you'll see the pods, they walk all over closed corals. But I don't think I've ever even heard of them eatin them.
You might check out zoapox. You have white dots on your zoas. (but I'm not the expert on that)
