***) Thanks to your help I now know I have pods, I've only seen them when i first turn on the lights so i dont' think theyr'e taking over the tank, but I was curious what type of fish or critters might eat them. I did a litttle research and read that some fish eat these things. One of the response said this is an indication that I have a healthy tank and that was good to hear. I also got a response that something I saw was a stomatella varia snail and that this was good too. It kind of freaked me out to see these things when I knew I hadn't put them in there,..strange hitchhikers............

Yea i have 3 of them from 1 rock. And scooter blenny's and mandarins eat pods. But they also need LOTS of rock to make sure the population of pods doesn't get depleted

Mandarins and scooters do eat pods, but a nano can't support enough of a pod population to keep them fed. Some people might disagree, but the vast majority of people who try to keep these fish in a nano don't succeed. One fish that I have heard of people keeping successfully in a nano that will eat pods is a 6 line wrasse. Just my $.02

I thought they were easy to keep, I had one for almost 1 year until it died. But then again..i only had about 8lbs of live rock in a 20gallon tank. I learned my lesson t he hard way..either way, I wouldnt buy another one of those fish again. Dont want to see another one die.
