an observation of green blasto and t5's

Ok, so i upgraded to aquatinics on my 70g tall that are really doing the job, i took the nova extreme 4 x 39 off of there and made a 20g nano reef a yr ago with the old fixture... I put a piece og LR in the tank that had a small spot of green blasto which turned brown w/ the old lights...
the green blasto which was brown and really looked like coraline w/ no life came back to a bright green blasto 6 months later!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (i changed to new t5 bulbs about 2 months ago..
anyway, crazy how its coming back under this lighting!

this seem right?

t5's are usually pretty good almost as good as metal halides depending on what type and if you have individual reflectors or not.

Sounds right

I got a pink birdsnest which was far from pink under halides. Put it under my TX5 and within a few months it was fluorescent pink.
I have yet to see that kind of color under halides.
