anemone acclimation

Instructions are to temperature acclimate the anemone in the bag which has very little water. When released into the tank do you hand place the anemone or just let it drop to the bottom and it will find its way to where it wants to go. Could get caught in the current.

I would just drop it into the tank, if you have a lot of current maybe place it somewhere at the bottom. No matter what it will move around if it does not like the location.

I always hand place and then let them roam until it finds a happy place . Just dropping in can cause problems as the anemone will get tossed around from the filters/power heads .
