Anemone activity

Having this pink tip for a few months, we have been reading/learning a bunch. (please respond with thoughts)
I have had the thing shrivel up, move around, look healthy, eat squid, shrivel up, etc....the cycle goes on. That is just my point...it almost seems like a cycle. My understanding is when they are getting ready to "expel" as in, waste...they close up. Then, the next time we check out the tank, it looks healthy again! (light brown color to it, opened up and accepting food) Any similar experiences or am I just wishful dreaming?

Mine do the same thing, My condi is about the size of a softball, it shrinks to the size of a golfball, very very concerning! But the next morning it starts taking in new water and looks amazing!
