Anemone doesn't like clowns

I finally got my tank back in check and got a new LTA for my clowns. By the end of the second day the clowns found the anemone. The LTA looked good until the clowns started roughing it up, but now it won't open all the way and refuses to stay put, it acts like the clowns are bothering it. It detached and floated to another spot and reattached and opened up... then the clowns found it again and it is only half open again. It has only been a week, but I don't think it is eating (I have to chase away the clowns while I feed it) and with it only opening up a little bit I am not sure how much light it is getting. Should I just give them some time, or is there something I should be doing?? Thanks again.
(Parameters are good and bulbs are new-440VHO on a 75)

I'll move it for you

Give the LTA some time to get used to the clowns, give it a couple of weeks. Right now the anemone would rather find the spot that it likes, so it has to spend energy to do so, this means that it isn't going to be fully open while it moves. It's still accimating to your tank chemistry and lighting, so give it time. There isn't a whole lot you can do about the clown fish wanting to love it up right now as you can't stand guard 24/7, but do keep an eye on it and make sure they aren't too rough with it.
Oh and a pic would be nice.

This may or may not help, but when I first got my anemone I made a "cage" for it out of eggcrate. Just basically cut pieces of eggcrate and tied them together with thread to make an open box shape, and then cut out the irregular shapes I needed for it to fit around the live rock. Shooed away the clown, placed cage over anemone, and voila! - one very frustrated clown. It bought a little extra time for the anemone to acclimate without getting loved to death...
Depends upon how big your anemone is and the arrangement of rock around it, but it might be worth a shot...

This is a pick from a few days ago, my main concern is that the anemone is not attaching to anything...
thanks again

You can try to burry the foot a bit if you like and keep it out of strong current for now, but if it still looks that healthy, I wouldn't worry to much for the time being.
