Anemone for Clown FISH

I have mated pair of clown fish
female is about 3" male is about 2"
they used to have sebae anmone for their host..
but I gave to my friend.. I am looking for anemone from this site
that I can order to make them good home.. I am thinking about
getting green carpet or hawaiian red anmone.. since only fish
in my tank is small blue tang and small yellow so he might wont
eat it... which anmone should I get?

the Sebae was probably your best choice IMO. why did you want to get rid of it if they were being hosted in it allready?
second in line of your choice is the carpet, but they get huge and like to eat quite a bit of silversides, they eat fish not shrimp and squid. they demand high water quality and current as well as strong lighting.

A surrogate home for your clowns would also work. A few Frilly Green Shrooms or a Toadstool Leather work well for this purpose. I personally like the shroom idea better then the anemone because they seem to stay where you put them. Anenomies will roam a tank until they are content, shrooms are, well, shrooms, and move at an yawning rate.

how about cleaner shirmp??

Carpet will sting what ever it touches...And usually even if it gets away it will die. And it will eat tangs....the longer it hasn't eaten the bigger the meal it can take...at lest this is how it is with mine.
