This is the first time I have done this and this is not the kind of thing I wanted to the asking foy my first post. I just got a new Bubble Tip Anemone last night I go up to checked on the tank and the Anemone is aout 3/4 of the way in the power filter. Will he make it or should I just take it out. What can I do? Any help would be great.

I don’t think he is going to make it I took out the peace of pipe. I hate to be saying this but it this normally covered under a guarantee of a lfs? How do I prevent this from happening again?

I highly doubt it would be covered by the LFS, cause only GOD guarentees LIFE.
Next time just take the pip off and place it in the bottom of the tank and allow the anemone to work its way out.

i can't really tell from the pic but i am going to tell you that anemones aren't a very hardy animal. as soon as you see symptoms of death: 'bleaching, almost appears to be melting' i would take it out immediately. anemones have a tendancy to foul the water when dying.

The size of pics can be no larger than 500x500. Go to manage attachments, then browse your computer and chose the pic.
I really can't tell from that pic either.

Bad news and good news.
Bad news the anemone did not make it.
Good news lfs replace it.
The owner said that it is his fault because he knows better and he knows what I all have. They were busy and it was closing time. So i got a new one and the foam to put around the filter. Thank for your help.

I'm sorry to hear about your anemone. You are very lucky your LFS replaced it. I had one once. The LFS didn't say anything about lighting and said that it would eat floating material in the water. It started looking sick. I took it back so the LFS could look at it. He said "just put it back in the tank and it will be fine" It turned into a big lump of goo and I removed it. Good luck with the new one!!
