anemone id please

I bought a meat coral awile back and i noticed it had a small anemone on the side that was colofull so i let it alone. today i find it buring the meat coral and fairly big. the center is about the size of a dime.it has green arms with pink tips any ideas??could not id it out any of my books.so i dont know if it is apitasia related and should kill it.

Probably a tulip anemone. I'll try and see if I can find a pic of one to verify...

Nope, not aptasia. I don't know much about this kind of anemone though. I think Bang Guy has a few and maybe he'll say something about them.

ya i did alittle search after you posted the pic.seems there on the good side of things.it will live. i just have to get it to move to another rock now,my meat coral really did like his spot.
