I dunno... I've never seen a bubble tip with a foot that was a different color from its disk/tentacles. Perhaps it's bleached? But does bleaching only affect the tentacles? The tentacles certainly make it look like a bubble tip, but I've never seen coloring like that on a bta. Any pics of it during the day, under a full spectrum bulb? The first one looks like it was shot at night, wtih the flash, the second one looks like it's under actinics.
I'm wondering if it's a sebae.

Bubble tips can be many colors including white, not necessarily bleached.

Really....I'm open to believe that because I know you are more experienced than I am, but I have never heard of a white anenome that WASN'T bleached.

I'll admit that it doesn't seem very common but I knew I had read something somewhere about white ones in some divers log that I was reading, and I know condys and there is a huge white anemone (forget the species and all) but I didn't remember a bubble tip being white. Does seem unusuall.
I had the same first thoughts about looking at the pic wondering if it had lost all its zoo or was stuck under some unusual lighting that it was not used to.
So lets investigate further. I'll do a little net looking as well.

Is the anemone still sticky?
Does it accept food ? from you and the clownfish?
What type of lighting was it under at the LFS? vs. Yours.?
Keep us posted as he acclimates to your tank
