Anemone in 29g BioCube - Good/Bad???

I just got a 29g BioCube as an early Xmas present from my Wife and family to go in my office at work. I will be moving my 25g office Tank to my new 29g BioCube and want to know if I can add an Anemone to the tank. I have 2 false percula clowns and they have ruined some of algae plants, as they use them like an anemone to hide and play.
I have no doubt they might try to host an anemone, but I don’t know what type of anemone, if any, will live in the conditions a 29g Cube with the 72watts of Coralife lighting that comes with the BioCube.
Has anyone here had good experience with anemone’s in your Cubes?

Anyone have Pics of Anemone's in your Cubes?

The Tank is a year old and the extra water will be coming from my 2 year old tank...
Are you 100% sure there is no anemone that will live?

A 29 is really pushing your luck......the biggest problem, imho, is the water quality. Even having the right lights and all, the anemone is going to dominate the tank....meaning chemical warfare.
You might try a hairy mushroom. They are pretty community friendly, and do well in lower lighting.
What kind of filtration does the cube have?
What else do you plan to introduce to the tank?
You could go an opposite direction and make it a brittle star tank. I love green brittle stars, however, they have rightly earned their nickname "Green Death". But are beautiful animals in a species tank.
Or perhaps seahorse. The 3-6 inch would be quite happy, if you have the time to feed them.
Or maybe pipe fish....or garden eels....gosh sky's the limit.....

Bubble Tip Anemones is your best bet, but only 72watts? that sucks. Even the 12gal nano cube comes with 72 watts. Are you sure its only 72 watts? The lighting may not be sufficient for the anemones health although the tank size is enough to keep a bubble tip anemone in my opinion.

Is there a different name for Harry Mushroom?
Unfortunately the 29g BioCube only comes with 72Watts... (2x36)
I will look for an alternative home for my clowns.
What are good coral alternatives other than the Harry Mushroom?

hmmmmmm....
some of the leathers...but they get enourmous for a 29....
there are several types of mushrooms...one called "Discosoma(Actinodiscus) of Mushroom Polyps are suggested for nano tanks....you never know what a clown will host. Another type of mushroom, Discosoma samctithomai or warety corallimorph/ It kind of resembles a tiny bubble tip anemone. You would need several, their max size is 2.5". It tolerates a wide variety of lighting too.
Hear is an anemone that stats say that it only require 50 gallons and moderate lighting. A Beaded anemone, It says that clarki clownsfish and several onther clown species will host it. I would try that.
Other than that as I said you never know what a clown will host. Good luck!!

the size of your tank isnt the problem. you need more lighting. I would suggest a coralife clip on hqi or something of the sort. I would also recommend a skimmer if you dont already have one.

I would recommend maybe getting the mod kits they have to add more power compact lights to your system (if you want the cheeper way) or go with metal halides (if you want the expensive way)
