We have a 90 gallon reef tank.
Started out with one anemoe - it keeps splitting. As of this morning we now have 5.
Can we keep all 5 in the tank?
Oh we have 3 clown fish.
Thanks for your help.

If they are all the same clone they can be kept in the same tank.
As for the reason, how often do you feed? What type of lights? How often are they splitting. I've read once they are large they will split every year or two. If they are splitting more than that look at stress as the reason.

what kind of lights do you have, it might be splitting because its trying to make sure it survives by splitting into many
does that make sense

I have a green BTA that split like that all the time, I have had it for three years and it has split probably 10 times. I give them away and try to keep it down to just one since they get the size of a dinner plate and end up taking up the whole tank. A few weeks ago it spit from one to four. I never feed it and the water quality is fine, I have a lot of sps in the tank that do great., So I know it's just what it does. I also have a red BTA that has split only three times in three years.
So to answer your question if you keep them they will probably take over your tank.
