Anemone lighting

I have (1) 48 in. light canopy. The light in there is a coralife 50/50 36 watts. I was wondering if that would be ok with housing anemones with two maxi-jet powerheads.

Thomas, the resident anemone expert, told me that my 260 watts of Pc lighting on my 55 is okay for a condi anemone. I have a BTA also, and so far, so good.

My neighbor has a 46 gallon tank with CF lights and has had his anemone (bubble tip) for 3 years. It has spawned two other anemones. Everything in his tank does really well. Hi clown is very fun to watch in the anemone.
I want an anemone and I am using CF lights but I won't try one until I feel my tank is very stable.
I should add that most everything I read is that anemones can be difficult to care for w/o proper lights. Some people (like my neighbor) are an exception. I have another firend that uses CF lights and his anemone died in no time. I am going on the side of caution which is why i have not bought one. I did get a bubble coral that looks like an anemone and if my clown takes to it, I won't worry about getting an anemone for awhile.

the problem with most tanks and the MH issue is the depth of the tank itself granted majority of anenomes require more lighting that most pc fixtures can give.if your tank is 24 inches or taller you will need MH for sps corals clams and enenomes.reason being the intesity of the light is weakened by the depth of the water so highter output is needed to give proper photosenthesis(ok bad spelling lol) some of the other sites show lighting guides for what is needed or at least suggested for what lighting needs for different tank inhabitants .
