My anemone(still unidentified) has slowly been moving towards my blue-spotted mushroom corals. I am worried it is going to attack them when it gets close enough, could this be possible and what should i do? Thanks
Also, I have recently started feeding the anemone by placing a syringe behind the little guy and squirting the food out at the anemone. The direction that the anemone is moving is towards where I squirt the food.
You can cut up pieces of shrimp or krill, etc. and feed it directly to the anenome. Just lay it right on him. He will then take it in. I wouldnt worry about him "attacking" your mushrooms. He could sting them though as he blows over them.

Did you ever find out where your LFS got it?
No sir, i never even called to ask. I'm pretty sure they would not know anyway. It is that particular anemone though. I did some research myself, it resembles a moonglow anemone but if I remember correcty the moonglows tubercles only cover the upper or lower 2/3 of the colunm.
