you only need to feed them once a week at most...they get most of their nutrients from photosynthesis, so get some good vho's or other strong lighting. mine spits it out when its not hungry every once in a while too. ive had my lta for over a year and i havent spot fed it in 5 months. i have 4 48in vhos though...
you can try frozen prime reefs cube if you like to, i use then when i feed it

I feed all my anemone 2-3 times a week . Let your new LTA settle and get acclimated to the new surroundings . I`d wait a week or so and try then . Also make sure you are not feeding it too big of a piece shrimp especially at first . You don`t want a piece any bigger than it`s mouth . I also will feed mine some frozen mysis , formula one , or brine plus with a syringe with air line connected to it and squirt right in front of the nem to allow the tenticals to catch them .
