Lots of research!
Proper lighting
Stable conditions in a well established tank.
Should be a reef tank with lots of live rock and live sand.
System should have a skimmer.
Sucess is measured in years with anemones. Many die in the first 6 months to a year.
Pristene water conditions
Alot of luck.
As a photosynthetic animal the lighting is much more important for the well being of the animal.
Give me a rundown on your system and I'll be happy to make suggestions.

Well. I don't want to buy live rocks Or live sand. I have 2 DEAD live rocks. I have many rocks although they arent live anymore. I have lots of dead coral. I have a 55 gallon tank , Fluval 404 , JBJ lighting and a maxi-jet 100 powerhead. I dont want to buy much , so if it involves a lot of money I dont think ill try it. Thanks
