Anemone Question

No lights... I dont think so. Low light yes. Thomas can correct me but I think some coldwater anemones require low light.
I am not sure what kinda anemone they were but the Florida aquarium here has a tank where you can touch some starfish and stuff, and they have it very dimly lit in there and they have anemones everywhere.

If you have a normal tropical reef tank.. then you cannot put cold water stuff in there. Cold water animals need cold water (of course).
I believe tube anemones DO need light.

If all you want is an anemone that does not require as much light as the 10 pacific hosting anemones then I suggest perhaps some of the Atlantic species. Some of them can be colorful and even trained to live in more brackish conditions around 1.015 salinity. They are less sensitive to temp changes and more adaptive because they are found in the North East Atlantic around Britain. They are not going to host with clown fish that I know of. Even the so called Tube anemone is colorful and nocturnal but belongs more in a reef setting with full salinity. I am not positive of their lighting needs but, Try looking up these anemones.
Beadlet anemone (Actinia equina)
Snakelock Anemone (Anemonia viridis)
Dalia Anemone (Urticina felina)
Plumrose Anemone (Metridium senile) - usually a white anemone.
