Anemone question

Hey Thomas or anyone else, is it ever normal for an anemone to have an open mouth? After eating or otherwise?

Mouth should be nice and tight..

It could be but all depends. Mouth can be open for many many reasons. Usually the mouth should not be gaping open. Usually if it keeps up I check for a pH problem, if thats not it I go from there checking other water paramiters first. If its not water then check for stray voltage, run some fresh carbon and or do a water change just to help remove DOC's., Check filters and clean them.

I went home last night and all was well. I had some one watch my tank over the weekend so that kind of had me worried. Nitrates are a bit high at 20 but it's water change time anyhow...
