anemone question

hi, i hvae a 90g that i am turning into a reef, my question is why dont i see alot of anemones in your all tanks? what are some problems people have with keeping them, do they cause problems or what? i really dontknow anything about them. i have a 760w mh/pc lighting

Some people put them in reef tanks and have no problems. The three big problems is.
1. They will move if they are unhappy where you place them.
2. They will sting coral or anything else that gets to close.
3. They need very good water.
If you can handle those three you will be fine. The tank should be up and funning no less then 1 year before you put one in it.

Yeah, Ive lost entire groups of corals because my anemone decided to move directly through them. anemones are risky in reef tanks. And they generally never live their full life span in captivity. most can live well over a hundred years but 70% dont make it past 5 years in captivity.
