Anemone Questions

I bought a new long tip anemone last week and put it in the 125 gallon tank that we have. This is the fist anemone that i have had. The tank is 2 years old and has about 150 to 200 bounds of live rock. The dip acclimated the anemone for an hour and then placed it in the tank and turned off the power heads. But i thought over the weekend it would attach its foot. Well this morning i noticed that it still had not attached.
Could yall tell me what could be wrong?

Usually, they will begin moving around within a day or2...if yours still has not attached it's foot to anything, one can "coax" it over to a corner where it can climb up the glass, or over to some rock where it can start.....be ready to move corals if u can, as the nem will roam - sometmes for days, looking for the perfect spot. Your pH is a bit low - as 8.0-8.3 would be better...my BTA and LTA were very happy in my 125, but I was running 250 watt bulbs over it. 175 should be enough i'd think though.....my nems did "park" mid high up though (bout 3/4 from bottom), with the 250's...if it does begin roaming - be 100% sure it can't get sucked into a strainer/powerhead grill.....cause it WILL - - so cover those with plastic screen/fish net/cheese cloth
