i bought 2 condi anemones at the same time, bother very very big, the one when fully inflated is easily the size of a soccer ball, the other about a foot from tentacle to tentacle
the bigger one has eaten both times i have fed it, the smaller one takes the food, eats it, then spits it back up
i thought the shrimp might be old but the bigger one eats it as does all my hermits and shrimp and everything
bought them at the same time, they were in the same tank, both look and act healthy except the smaller one doesnt eat
i dont have much meaty foods for them except clam and shrimp and ill try the clam tomorrow, but any idea why it takes it but then spits it back out but everything else eats it?
its been fully thawed and soaked with the other foods so i know it must taste good

come on, someone give me some advice, it keeps taking the food, eating it, then spitting it right out, doesnt even keep it in its mouth for more than 10 seconds, ive tried frozen shrimp and clam, all my other crabs and shrimp and anemone eat everything, but this guy wont touch anything
it keeps inflating and grabbing stuff, just wont eat, what should i do? ill try some silversides soon, but i dont wannabuy them if i dont need too

It isn't hungry...When mine does that I don't feed it for a week and then try again. Mine eats every two weeks. It is natural to sting an intruder, and if it is hungry it will take it..If not, it will sting whatever is in its tentacles and release it.
It didn't get that big not eating.

well thats true, but seeing as it was moved and has something with its foot, i figured stressed, also i had a similar condi do the same thing, just stopped eating, started out not eating, then not grabbing, then just died
this one takes it, puts it in its mouth, then spits it out within 10 seconds, if it wasnt hungry, why would it put it in its mouth?
