my stupid anemone is roaming. i have heard others complaining of their anemone roaming but mine never has. does this mean he is unhappy? or do they just randomly move sometimes?

he's just looking for a good spot in the tank that they like. I just added some RBTA's and a BTA and they move like crazy. Nothing to worry about. If he's unhappy it will just shrink up and disintigrate.

Howdy Ithorian, just watch your corals and anything like Shrooms and such that he might hurt. Goodluck

I have a Condy that roams constantly. I think he gets bored in different places. He is eating, eliminating and doing great. Just won't find a place and settle.
I had him in my reef tank, but he kept migrating over to the center of the tank, but that is where my mated pair of clownfish and bta is. I was afraid of fights with the condy to close to the bta.
Duh, I set up a new qt tank. And.....I moved the condy to the new tank. He seems to be happy there. I guesse I do't have a qt tank now. the condy is happy. He can roam where he choses.
My bta that is in the center of the tank, he NEVER moved after he found the spot he liked.
Oh well, they are all individuals.
Good luck.
