ok here is the weird thing. i bought an anemone in the first week after my tank cycled. i know looking back this was a stupid chioce because they require so much light. well on my 20 gal I only have 2 15 watt 20,000k and one actinic. when i first got the anemone it was white (a sign of death due to the expulsion of zooaxanthella) but in a month it turned brown and the zooaxanthella are visible under the actinic light. by this time i had read a lot about anemones and by all acounts my anemone should have died. but its thriving. it even re grew about 11 tentacals. its doubled in size since i got it 3 months ago. i still have the same lights (saving up for my 75 gal and the lights that it will need.) and its doing really well. i dont understand it. anyway, just thought i would tell you a happy story about anemone keeping. i will be upgrading the lights in about a month so dont yell at me for neglecting th4e care requirements. i will never buy another anemone because i know how much they need. oh by the way, its a hatian condy.
