My anemone got partially sucked up by my powerhead and i got it all out. I took it out of the tank..Will this poison my tank if it dies?? How do you all prevent this from happening.. These damn things move all over the place.

put some thin sponge material around the power head to prevent it and if its ripped i would flush it before it starts to rot. It will not poison the tank but im not really sure about it. so check it out.

No no, don't do that!! A lot of us, myself included, have had our anemones shredded by a PH and they ended up fine. Give it some time. An anemone will turn insideout when it is not happy, if it stays inside out it could be dead. A dead anemone will not poison your tank as say, a cuke or nudibranch will, but it will release ammonia, same as any dying critter. It will also smell like axs when it's dead, so give it some time, see what happens.
My anemone finally found it's happy place dead in front of a PH's flow, so aim a PH at him and see if he sits still. He may be going after more current.
