If clown fish have been tank raised, would there be any chance at all of them taking up with an anemone? :happyfish :happyfish
Thanks,

I have two clown fish that were tank raised. I just got a BTA for them, but they haven't "jumped" in yet. I talked to the breeder and she said they will take to it no problem.
I will say that my female has gotten very nasty toward me since I got it. She attacks me when I put my hand in the tank now. Bang said that was a good sign. :)

Thanks for the reply... My clowns have been snooping around the BTA but it seems my sailfin always runs them off when they get close to the BTA.. Its funny how fish can get such an attitude :notsure:

Depends on how they were raised. Some clown fish theory is that by placing the eggs very near the anemone they can pic up the scent of the anemone. Even if that didn't happen there is still instinct. There is always a chance.
