Anemone under the rocks?

I purchased a LTA a week or so ago but traded it in for a bubble tip...needless to say all is well except that the bubble tip has positioned itself under a rock in a cave setting with only a little bit sticking out. Is that normal? I have read where it can be normal under brighter lights. I am using Coralife 260w system so its not that bright compared to MH or T5s. He hasn't moved out of that one spot for a couple weeks now
. Water conditions are good so I am at a loss here. Maybe the little guy is one depressed sob?

Now I did try and move him and he went right back to that cave area so who am I to say here. He looks fine color wise from what I see but he isn't getting any lighting and its impossible to spot feed so who knows?

We got a BTA about 8 months ago and when we introduced it, it made it's home under a rock and stayed there. When we upgraded to the 180/ we moved him with his rock and he stayed there, but has recently reached out into the light a little.
So, is it normal? No idea. But you're not the only one.

Well with anemones I know they want crystal clear water...I have a 25G sump along with a 200G rated protein skimmer coming so that should help out big time with the water quality...down the rd I want to upgrade my lights to a HQI setup with T5s...but thats another $700 later
