Anemone vs Manadrin Fish

I am interested in adding an anemone to my tank, as a potential host to my tank-raised Ocellaris. I am also interested in adding a Mandarin Fish, but I read that the anemone will eat the Mandarin.
Should I avoid buying an anemone? If I do buy one, what would you recommend?

the anenome will eat anything, fish, shrimp. i caught my anenome eating my cleaner shrimp before and got there just in time to get it out. i wouldnt consider geting a mandrin unless you have a mature tank and lots of LR and pods.

All anemones should be considered potential fish killers. However there are some species of anemone that are not nearly as predatory as others. The bubble tip anemone is one of the least predatory, less potent stings of all the available anemones. The florida Condy aka. Haitian Anemone is one of the more predatory species and is well known for killing and eating very healthy fish. Use caution with your selection of species its a risk no matter which you choose but your chances are better with some than others.

It sounds like I should avoid the anemone. I have a lot of shrimp, crabs and smaller fish. I do have plenty of live rock and pods to support a Mandarin.
BTW, is it pronounce deh TR(AYE) tus or DE trihtus?

it's pronounced poop.

I have an RBTA, and he's never bothered the mandarin or any other fish. Mainly I think because the maroon clown never lets anyone near him!
