Anemone won't attach?

In a week I am getting MH lighting. I was at a new LFS this Sunday and saw this anemone and coudln't pass it up for the price. So here's the problem: IT will NOT attach to anything. It's been 3 and half days and it just floats around or looks like it's walking using it's tentacles. I have never had an anemone that wouldn't attach so I'm wondering, is my flow to high. Only using two power heads and return I plumbed and drilled holes so it's one long pipe with holes. Does it hate my water, all parameters are at 0, salinity at 1.024, water temp ranges from 80-82. The anemone has very sticky tentacles which I've heard is a sign of a healthy anemone. I've attached the pics of it in different floating/walking states, it looks healthy? What is up with it?

I saw the earlier post of Anemone swimming but, didn't want to butt in on the thread. :happyfish
Any help or thoughts would be appreciated. It's making me crazy, I never know where it's going to be when I come home or get up.

LTA and purple tip condys are known to not stick with there foot.
i have small ones of each type and they have both yet to lock on. sometimes they stay in one place for a long time, but have a tendancy to dissapear into a cave and die.

I Would not really be all to concerned unless you have unprotected power head intakes. My sebae was crawling all over my tank for seven days, until it finally set foot on the other side of a piece of live rock and on the other side is my Caribbean carpet. I thought they would have a stinging war, but both are open and big and beautiful with no ill affects. They both get feed by the same clarki and he host them both all day all night back and forth. Some of the anemones that I have gotten some times just want to find that one certain place and won’ stop looking until it finds it. Condis are great for that, like saltn00b said my florida will tuck into a crevice for a day and come back out full bloom, just something that needs to be excepted about them.

This is not strange at all actually. It has to do with oxygen in the water I believe. You probably have some photosynthetic creature that is producing oxygen for you while the lights are on. Once they are off, no more photosynthesis so less oxygen, which makes the PH go down. This is why people run a fuge on an opposite lighting schedule of the tank.

Thanks everyone for the advice. I came in from work last night and he was settled down and still there this morning and this evening so I'd say he has found his spot!! My Tomato clown has moved in and is happy! My Domino Damsel tried to move in the anemome. He kept running off the clown and was lying beside him when he was on the move. Not sure how the clown ended up winning but, he did. The Damsel is rather large.
I just started a sump with a fuge on an opposite lighting schedule of the tank. Didn't know what the reasoning was; thought it was due to heat. Now I know, thank you Hagfish!
Sharkbait9 and misfit, thanks for sharing; that makes me feel better if I get up tomorow and he's on the move again.

Crox, I got the anemone for 29.99 which is a steal compared to the other LFS I shopped at, they sell them for 48.99. This new place is reasonably priced and their stuff looks pretty healthy.
The tank has been setup about a year and it's been one disaster after another. I think it is finally on the right track!!!

Glad it settled down.
That looks like a LTA and they generally like to have their foot buried in the sand deep and atacht to the glass or a rock in the sand and need strong lights because the sand is 'normally' haha, low in the tank.
Feed it something meaty.
